Saunders Aircraft Canada and the Skywest Airline

Saunders Aircraft Canada and Sky West Airlines ..........a full article to come soon

in the mean time ............Sky West was an airline created by the Manitoba and Saskatchewan governments  with two Saunders ST-27 dry leaded by Saunders Aircraft to Sky West.

Many private carriers opposed the creation of a government airline and the governments of Manitoba and Saskatchewan could not agree who would run Sky West, some funding was also provided by the federal Government of Canada. In the end Sky West did not get off the ground.
